About Breathwork
Breathing on purpose
Breathwork is conscious, connected breathing: done with intention and support, in a space where nothing is asked of you except to breathe and feel.
What breathwork is
Most of the time, we breathe on autopilot, shallow and guarded, shaped by the tension of a full life. Breathwork takes you off autopilot. It is the intentional use of your breath to shift your nervous system and create a fuller, more open breath. When your breath becomes easier and more flowing, you can begin to meet life from that same place.
I use Transformational Breath®, a gentle yet deep practice that uses a conscious, connected breath to reach the places where stress, physical holding, and old stories live, reconnecting you with yourself.
There is nothing to master and no way to get it wrong. Your breath already knows how to lead the way.
Why the breath
There is so much we learn through the mind. We read, we study, we talk about what happened and try to understand why we do the things we do.
But the breath can process things the mind could never think its way through. It allows us to feel and integrate what we’ve been carrying in our bodies for years, and it reconnects us with our own knowing, beneath the noise.
The breath is simple. And yet it can take us places the thinking mind cannot.
What a session is like
Lie down. Breathe. I’ll meet you there.
We begin by talking about what is present for you and setting an intention for the session. Then you lie down, get comfortable, and I guide you into the breath.
I’ll be with you the whole time offering gentle hands-on support, a custom playlist to take you on a journey, and movement to help the breath to open. Some sessions are quiet. Some bring tears, emotion, sensation, clarity, or memories. Whatever arrives is welcome.
We close slowly, with time to rest, integrate, and share what came through.
What people notice after a session
- A quieter mind and a softer body
- Emotion moving that has been stuck for years
- More energy, clarity, and ease in the days that follow
- A feeling many describe simply as coming home
